Language should never be a barrier to accessing your documents, your records, or your community. Today, DigitalCabinet is available in English, French, and Spanish, and we are committed to expanding that list as our clients' needs grow.
A Platform That Works in Your Language
Every person who uses DigitalCabinet deserves an interface that feels familiar and natural. Whether a user navigates in English, French, or Spanish, they will find the same full experience across the platform. Nothing is hidden, reduced, or translated as an afterthought. The goal is that a user working in Spanish and a user working in English are using the same product, just in their own language.
Need a Different Language? Let's Talk.
English, French, and Spanish are only the starting point. If your community speaks another language, we want to support that. Clients can work with us directly to coordinate the addition of new languages to DigitalCabinet. These conversations are handled on a case-by-case basis so that we can prioritize the languages that matter most to the people we serve. If you are interested in adding a language, reach out to your account contact and we will walk through what that process looks like for your organization.
Surveys Work Across Languages Without Extra Work
One of the more practical implications of multilingual support is how it affects surveys. Surveys in DigitalCabinet are built with cross-language keys, meaning a single survey is linked across all language versions. When a user takes a survey, it appears in their chosen language. Once they complete it, the other language versions of that same survey are automatically marked as complete. No one has to take the same survey twice in a different language, and no administrator has to reconcile duplicate responses.
Results are also returned in the user's chosen language, so the data your organization receives reflects the language each respondent actually used. This keeps reporting clean and reduces the overhead of managing multilingual survey responses across a community.
Setting Personal Language Preferences
Users can set their own language preference within DigitalCabinet, independent of any organization-level default. This means that even within the same registry or community, different users can work in the language that works best for them. Administrators do not need to manage individual settings on behalf of their users. Each person has control over their own experience.
Helping Your Community Get Set Up
If you are an administrator responsible for onboarding users or guiding a community through a platform transition, language accessibility is a practical first step. We encourage clients to communicate the available language options to their users early, direct them to where preferences can be updated in their account settings, and flag any populations within their community who may benefit from a language that is not yet available so that request can be initiated with our team.
A platform that works in your users' language removes friction before they ever encounter it. That is the standard we are building toward with every addition to DigitalCabinet.
