Research moves faster when the right people can find the right studies. DigitalCabinet now includes study portals, giving registries a dedicated space to surface research opportunities directly to the participants who are most likely to be interested in them.
What Are Study Portals?
Study portals are purpose-built spaces within DigitalCabinet where registries can host and manage research studies. Rather than relying on participants to seek out opportunities on their own, the platform proactively presents studies that may be relevant to each user based on their profile. When a participant logs in, studies they may be eligible for or interested in are surfaced to them directly, lowering the barrier between a person who wants to contribute to research and the studies that need them.
What This Means for Your Registry
Study portals give registries a structured way to connect their communities to research without requiring participants to navigate outside the platform. Studies are presented in context, alongside the health and family information participants are already managing in DigitalCabinet. For registries running or partnering on research, this means better visibility for studies and more qualified engagement from participants who already have relevant data in the system.
